Meet Niki Hays, Minister to College Students & Young Adults!
A native Texan, Niki Hays was born and raised in Houston where she completed her undergraduate work at Houston Baptist University. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christianity and Speech, Niki went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Niki served as Minister of Education and Students at Monument Baptist Church in Deer Park, Texas for 19 years before being led to Calvary. She had the privilege of overseeing education from birth to senior adults. She served on the Board of Trustees for The Texas Baptist Home For Children.
Niki enjoys traveling, Mexican food (and all things spicy), and family nights at home. She is married to Ryan, a music teacher, and they have two children, Ryder and Karis.
We at Calvary Baptist Church understand that the pressures of college life can sometimes be overwhelming. We want to provide a nurturing environment in which college students can use this time in their lives to find answers and grow in their relationships with God. Our college minister leads Bible studies, coordinates The Summit, and ministers to college students at Transylvania University, Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky. Take this journey with us as we experience these defining moments together.

Looking to get plugged in? We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Lexington and invite you to Calvary Baptist Church. An exciting year lies right around the corner. Calvary is located just two blocks north of the UK Bookstore & Student Center. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved including Wednesday College Bible Study, mission trips, and events. One of the things we want to do at Calvary is help you get connected. God has wired us for relationships and we want to help you build relationships with people. We desire to help you make friends as quickly as possible. We also want to help you connect with God. One of the most important things you can do your first year of college is to grow spiritually.
