-------Calvary Christmas Project 2017-------

Since 1975 Calvary Baptist Church has reached out to families in need throughout our community.  What began as a single class project serving 8 families has now grown to an average of 150 families served each year.  With over 250 multi-generational volunteers giving hundreds of volunteer hours throughout the year, this church-wide project is at the heart of Calvary’s mission as a “Christ filled church."

*On average 475 children receive Christmas gifts from their personal “Wish Lists”  that are purchased and wrapped by members of the Calvary family.

*Families receive Food Boxes filled with a ham, assorted canned and boxed goods, bread, milk, juice, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, and margarine.  They also receivelaundry detergent & personal items that include soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrushes.  We are grateful to Smucker’s, Kroger, Meijer’s, and others for merchandise/donations toward these expenses.

*Funds to purchase these items come directly from your designated gifts to the Calvary Christmas Project. Approximately $20,000 per year is needed to provide for the families we serve over and above the “Wish List” gifts.
